Le Grande Cannon is a flat, road-grade trail with views of the Helena Valley. It’s a great walk with a stroller and the only South Hills trail that’s plowed in the winter. It’s an excellent starting point for exploring Mount Helena.
Follow the O.G.R Trail through meadows and old growth Ponderosas. Enjoy sweeping valley views as you climb up the Old Chevy and Ambrose trails and contour east. Take the Northwest Passage Trail back to Le Grande Cannon.
