  • PPLT Hosts successful 2024 Harvest Moon Banquet and Auction, and more friends gave than ever before.

Five hundred friends of Prickly Pear Land Trust gathered for our Harvest Moon Banquet and Auction at the Helena Civic Center on Sept. 28. From a spirited live auction to the high-energy grooves of John Roberts y Pan Blanco, it was an unforgettable celebration of conservation and community. More friends gave than ever before, and they gave generously, raising $110,000 more than last year in an incredible show of support for our work. Every Harvest Moon donation will support our efforts to protect land, build and maintain trails, and make parks and environmental education accessible to everyone in our growing community. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration so successful!

  • World-renowned ceramic artist and longtime PPLT board member Sarah Jaeger donated a set of handmade plates to the auction. She also silenced the packed ballroom with her statement about why she’s supported PPLT for 20 years.

To me, PPLT is about the future, looking forward, and thinking about what we have now that we need to preserve and what we can improve. It’s about leaving our corner of the world better than we found it so all the creatures who come after us can thrive and flourish.

  • Nate and Ferren Warner are the proud winners of a trip to the Galena Lodge in Idaho, plus a delicious box of cookies. Like many PPLT supporters, Nate grew up in Helena and returned here to raise a family near trails and open space.
