Since 1995, PPLT has secured permanent protection for 20,000 acres, built the best trail system in Montana, and opened four community parks. Prickly Pear Land Trust is a regional land trust in Montana whose mission is to connect people to the land. Headquartered in Helena and serving a four-county region, PPLT operates three main programs: Trails and Parks, Land Protection and Stewardship, and Education and Outreach.
